Tough Toshiba Notebooks With Extra Security

Toshiba is set to roll out a range of notebooks that can take the rough with the smooth, and come with fingerprint and software data security protection.

Both the Tecra A10 and M10 ranges come with fingerprint security and the company’s EasyGuard software, which helps protect data from viruses, as well as automatically check both incoming and outgoing data for online threats. They can also handle knocks with shock protection that will keep the hardware intact if the unit is accidentally dropped.

Units come with Intel’s Centrino 2 processor, with some units having up to 8GB of memory and 250GB hard drive.

A10 units will have a 15-inch screen, while the smaller M10s come with a 14-inch screen. Both ranges come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the M10 can have 3G as an optional extra. A10 units will be available this month, while the M10 will be available later in the year.
