If you have problems remembering where and when a photograph or home movie was taken, you’re not alone.
To combat the problem, Sony has unveiled a GPS unit for digital cameras and camcorders that pinpoints your location at the time the snap was taken.
The GPS-CS1 records detailed time and location information onto an internal memory. You can then simply apply the location information to images captured via the supplied software.
Using the software, you download the GPS log to your PC along with the photos. The software does the rest.
You can even view your photographic journey on a map, complete with time, date and location information.
The GPS-CS1 has an RRP of $229. More information at www.sony.com.au
