Fujifilm Australia are offering a cashback of $900 for buying its new GFX 50S camera and trading in a selected camera.
Described by Fujifilm as “an ultra-high end medium format mirrorless digital camera”, the GFX 50S packs in a 51.4-megapixel sensor measuring 43.8mm x 32.9mm, around 1.7 times the area of the sensor of a full frame camera.
The camera features a 3.69M-dot organic EL electronic viewfinder, 2.36M-dot touchscreen LCD display and a focal plane shutter specifically developed for the GFX 50S, all housed in a compact and light magnesium alloy body.
Fujifilm’s “highly-rated X Processor Pro image processing engine” is also featured on the GFX 50S, allowing photographers to “experience Fujifilm’s acclaimed Film Simulation colour reproduction with an ultra-high quality large size sensor.”
“The FUJIFILM GFX 50S is an exceptionally popular medium format camera that is both renowned and highly sought after,” said Fujifilm Australia National Product & Marketing Manager – Electronic Imaging, Alex Zitser.
Photography enthusiasts interested in taking advantage of the $900 cashback offer will need to trade in a qualifying working camera at a participating retailer when purchasing the GFX 50S.
“If enthusiasts are in the market to purchase one, now is the time to do it during this limited promotional period,” Zitser said.
More information about the promotion and a list of participating retailers and qualifying trade-in cameras can be found on the Fujifilm website.
