The Jabra SP700 is a Bluetooth speakerphone that easily fits on to a car’s sun visor for wireless communication. What’s good about this product is that it is able to transmit calls or music from your mobile phone to your car’s FM radio, allowing users to hear calls over the car’s audio system.

After charging the unit, all a user needs to do is press the Answer/End button for a couple of seconds to turn the unit on. The pairing mode will automatically be activated, with users being able to pair up the speakerphone to their mobile phone.
Using the unit is simple: pressing the Answer/End button will answer or end a call, while pressing the volume button immediately adjusts the volume level of the speakerphone. The speakerphone also allows you to transmit calls and music from your mobile to the car stereo with its built-in FM transmitter.

A user can also select a new FM frequency by pressing the Volume Up button in FM mode. The unit will announce the new frequency, giving users a chance to get a clean signal in places where there is a lot of radio interference.
We found the audio quality to be good, with us hearing the caller clearly. The DSP (digital signal processing) feature was able to reduce background noise, allowing the person on the other side hear us without any echoes or feedback. GN Netcom claims that the unit can last up to 255 hours (standby) and offers up to 14 hours talk time, which will probably equate to a week of ‘normal use.’ If the unit goes flat, a user can simply plug the unit to the car’s cigarette lighter for continuous use.
The Jabra SP700 will be available later this month with an RRP of $129.
