Apple is tipped to launch not one but two new models this year in a major break from tradition, with one new iPhone 4 tipped for release shortly.
The move which is seen as a counter measure to multiple Android phones from vendors like HTC and Samsung will see the introduction of a low end iPhone 4 within weeks, with a new iPhone 5 launched in September.
Apple blog 9 to 5 Mac said Apple would release two iPhones in September, however some sources are tipping the launch of a new model iPhone 4S
Apple has not confirmed there will be an iPhone 5 yet, much less that one – or two – will be released in September. However, Apple almost never pre-announce anything and by the time their product launches roll around it’s usually possible to piece together what will be announced based on rumours the UK Daily Telegraph said recently.
It is thought that the iPhone 5 will have a faster processor – the same A5 model that is in the iPad 2 – and a better camera, possibly with an 8-megapixel sensor instead of the 5-megapixel one that is in the iPhone 4.
