Denon has launched what it says is its ultimate mini-compact audio system to date. The new CX3 system uses technology usually found only in its top-end systems.
Comprising of a stereo receiver, Super Audio CD player and speaker system, the CX3 claims to deliver stable sound through new amplifier circuitry and less interference by means of separated power units of the pre and power amp sections.
The CD/SACD player plays MP3 and WMA files recorded on CD-R/RW discs. It also offers gold-plated, machined brass input terminals with 18cm pitch (for CD), allowing you to upgrade your sound using audio RCA pin cables.
Denon boasts the new speaker system features newly developed 13cm D.D.L. (Denon Double Layer) cone woofer units utilising carbon fibre cones and Soft Dome tweeters for a “lustrous vocal sound.”
And for those who require iPod capability, there is also an optional iPod dock that allows you to view on-screen metadata (playlists, artist and song etc.) and also recharge the device.
