Victorinox, most famous for its multipurpose Swiss Army knives, is stepping into the corporate jungle with slim flash drives featuring the classic pocket-knife aesthetic.
The Victorinox Slim is a USB flash drive that spans 4GB to 64GB capacities in a skinny form factor that lives up to its name, and a design that precedes its reputation. It comes in multiple colours outside of the typical blood red, though retains the classic Swiss Army look.
The Slim Duo models squeezes in up to 128GB of portable storage by doubling up on fold-out USB sticks.
While it doesn’t sport the trademark blades of the typical Swiss Army knife, it’s the legal variety of office survival tool.
In-built software features include automatic back-up, bookmark and favourites manager and a password manager.
The Slim and Slim Duo currently aren’t held by Victorinox’s Australian distributors, though can be found online at prices that range from around US$40 up to US$350.
The closest thing on Aussie shores is the Victorinox SwissFlash Flight USB which features a fold-out USB storage stick, LED light, key ring and ballpoint pen, all in storages ranging from 1GB to 16GB. This model currently sells for around $135 and is also bladeless.
