Vita Audio has just released two new digital radios to sit up next to its R1 DAB+ radio – the R2i and R4i.
The R2i is a tabletop stereo that comes with a digital and FM tuner in-built with a universal iPod dock sitting atop the wood-grain or glossy-finish box. The unit pushes out sound through two front-facing 3.5 inch drivers.

A handy plus is the two auxiliary inputs that allows multiple devices to be plugged in via 3.5mm cable at once. There’s also a remote control thrown in for the functionality’s sake, rounding out the R2i with a $650 price tag.
The R4i takes a notable step up, with an in-built subwoofer underneath the iPod docking station and CD player slot that seamlessly cuts into the middle of the box. The 3.5 inch drivers are improved with an added USB connection for MP3 and WMA music playback.
