Vodafone Bags New Android Phone

Vodafone is the first carrier to announce that it will be stocking the new Android phone by HTC.

The company has launched a pre-registration site for the HTC Magic, with customers being able to register their interest and receive further information about Vodafone’s HTC Magic by visiting www.vodafone.com.au/htcmagic.

The HTC Magic operates on the Android platform, and is available in black and exclusively to Vodafone in white. The HTC Magic boasts a 3.2-inch QVGA touch screen display and features a trackball and navigational buttons for quick, easy access.

Vodafone Australia’s Head of Consumer Markets, Edward Goff said, “Vodafone is thrilled to be launching an exclusive version of the HTC Magic. We will offer both the black and white variants to our customers – the white of which is exclusive to Vodafone – and Google branding. In addition, the Vodafone exclusive device comes with Firmware Over-the-Air software which automatically updates handsets with the latest Android software, ensuring our customers always enjoy the best possible user experience.”
