Vodafone Delivering iPhone 5s To Customers On Saturday & Sunday

‘What’s a business day?’ Vodafone will be delivering the iPhone 5 to customers over the weekend.

If you pre-ordered an iPhone 5, I imagine the day you receive it will be a special one. Now, Vodafone has managed to make it even better by disregarding the age-old notion of ‘business day’ and delivering it to customers on Saturday (22nd) and Sunday (23rd), just in time for the weekend celebrations.

“The iPhone 5 is a hot commodity and our customers are keen to get their hands on it as soon as they can. We’ve upped the ante on shipping the iPhone and have put in place a special daily delivery service so thousands of our customers don’t have to wait any longer,” said Katie Turkal, General Manager of Devices at Vodafone.

Vodafone is also throwing in extra data for customers who buy the new iPhone on their $50, $60, $80 and $100 plans for the first year of their 24 months contract. The $50 & $60 plans will come with 500MB extra, while the latter two plans will come with an additional 1GB.

“Vodafone customers will be able to enjoy all the amazing new features of their iPhone 5 with the new Vodafone 3G+ network,” Turkal said.

Vodafone deliveries of the new iPhone 5 will start from today, the 21st of September.
