First it was a major Vodafone network crash, then along came a social network video that slammed the network for their poor service, then over Easter, the UK company crashed their network again with customers unable to make phone calls or send text messages.Within hours Facebook and Twitter messages were jamming social networks as customers expressed their anger at the company that is struggling to deliver an efficent network up against Optus and Telstra who have both benefited from consumers deserting the Vodafone network.
“Vodafone you will now and forever be known as #vodafail you bunch of halfwits”, wrote Twitter user @AmyBromhead, while MelissaSmith7 wrote “Cannot believe I have been loyal to a company that doesn’t care about me. Ombudsman time. #Vodafail.
A Smarthouse reader said: “I am away for Easter, I had no phone, no messaging capability. This is the end. When I get back to Sydney, I will dump the network even though I have 12 months left on my contract”.
Vodafone says the latest problem, which hit on Sunday, was fixed early this morning.
Currently the company is facing a class action from disgruntled customers who are fed up with repeated service problems.
