Vodafone has just announced that it is taking pre-sale orders for the Samsung Galaxy S II until 9 June 2011.
Customers placing orders today could expect the Samsung Galaxy S II, the dual core smartphone launched amid much hype at the end of last month, to be delivered to them by the end of June.
The Galaxy S II is a more powerful and faster version of its successful Galaxy S smartphone with an even brighter and slightly bigger Super AMOLED screen and – among a bundle of pre-installed apps – a free full-scale version of Navigon’s GPS turn-by-turn navigation software.
As a teaser, Vodafone is also offering a free Samsung leather case and $50 bonus bill credit to customers when they pre-order.
Pricing for the Samsung GALAXY S II includes:
$10 per month on the Vodafone Infinite $45 plan over 24 months. Total min cost $1320.
$5 per month on the $59 Promo Cap over 24 months. Total min cost $1776
$0 upfront on the Vodafone Infinite $65 plan over 24 months. Total min cost $1560
The carrier also announced that 3 will be selling the device in store from early July.
The phone is already on pre-order at Optus, and Telstra announced last week that it will carry the phone from July.
