BlackBerry Connect is now available for the Palm Treo 650 on the Vodafone mobile network, allowing users push-email and calendar synchronisation via the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The BlackBerry Connect software for the Palm smartphone is available from Vodafone with a choice of two email bundles – a “lite” bundle which includes 1MB of data for $30 per month and a “heavy” bundle with unlimited data for $50 per month. The software is available as a free download at www.palm.com/au/bbc.
BlackBerry Connect on the Treo 650 smartphone supports Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Domino. Apart from calendar and email functionality, the Treo 650 allows users to view Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF document, remote address lookup and centralized device management.
