Vodafone has added the Sony Eriscsson Xperia X10 mini pro to its stable of Android phones, and is offering it with 1GB of free mobile internet data for one year, to new and existing customers who sign up to an Android package.
The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro is said to be the world’s smallest Android phone, and features Timescape technology which integrates all users of social networking together in one place, including Facebook, Twitter, emails, photos and text messages, cutting out the need for numerous applications to be open at the same time.
The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro, which includes a 2.6 inch touch screen, slide-out QWERTY keypad, 5.0 megapixel camera with geo-tagging, integrated Google services including Search, Talk, Gmail and YouTube, built-in GPS with Wisepilot Navigation, WiFi, USB and Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, also allows users to download applications from the Android market and customise devices to their taste.
“Vodafone is excited to launch the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro in Australia, adding another innovative high quality device to the current range of handsets for the Android platform, giving consumers even more choice when it comes to Android and what this platform can deliver,” said Ross Parker, GM of Devices and Pricing at Vodafone Hutchison Australia.
Dubbed the ‘gift of the gig’, the free 1GB mobile internet data offer is available on a number of post-paid cap contracts over 24 months for eligible Android handsets from the Vodafone stable .
