Vodafone has launched a range of prepaid plans aimed at users who want to have more control over their monthly spending.The company said that its new TXT & Data plan offers 3000 standard national TXTs they can send to personal mobile numbers (offer available until 31 January 2010, normally 500 TXTs), 250MB to 2GB of data, $100 -$300 of credit to use to friends and family on Vodafone in Australia and $30 -$70 flexible credit.
Vodafone has also launched Flexi Cap recharge, a prepaid plan that comes with flexible credit, bonus data, as well as Vodafone to Vodafone national talk credit. For example, the $29 FlexiCap recharge comes with $150 Flexible Credit, 100MB of data, and $150 Vodafone to Vodafone standard national talk credit. The $149 plan on the other hand, offers $1250 Flexible Credit, 1GB included data and $1250 Vodafone to Vodafone credit.
The flexible credit can be used on Standard National and International Voice and Video calls/TXT/ PXT/ Video PXT, Voicemail, International Roaming, 1223 Directory Assistance, 123-Ask Us Anything, ’13’, ’15’ and ’18’ numbers, Pay As You Go Mobile Internet, Vodafone live! browsing and content downloads.
Finally, the company will also roll out a ‘Simplify’ plan that offers one simple rate of 15 cents a minute standard national voice calls (charged per 60 seconds)and 15 cent standard national texts. It also enables customers to keep in touch with family and friends overseas, with the choice of 15 cent international standard texts and 30 cents a minute standard voice calls (charged per 60 seconds) to over 20 countries including the UK, USA, China, India, New Zealand and more.
