Vodafone has expanded its international roaming offers, with the telco today announcing complimentary $5 roaming for a number of its higher tier Red plans.Vodafone last year launched $5 a day roaming, allowing customers to use their plan’s minutes, text and data while overseas, and will now include the service for free for certain plans.
Vodafone has advised customers on the following 24-month plans will not have to pay the $5 a day fee when using their mobile phone overseas:
– $100 Red
– $100 Red Business
– $130 Red Business
– $130 Red Business Grow
Customers on these plans will be able to use their monthly plan inclusions in 47 locations around the world.
By way of example, Vodafone states customers on the $100 Red plan will now be able to use their monthly plan inclusions, infinite calls, text and 6 GB of data in overseas locations, incurring no extra daily charge.
