Sony Ericsson’s new Walkman phone has been designed for anyone who wants an entry-level gadget that is affordable and easy to use.
You can send tracks to and from the phone using the supplied software.
The phone comes in two colours – black and white – and features a Walkman key, which takes you straight to the Walkman menu for easy access to your music.
The W200i is best suited as a complement to an existing MP3 player, according to Sony Ericsson marketing manager, Josh Oxspring.
“It minimizes the hassle of carrying lots of devices with you when you’re on the move and provides enough music storage for your current playlist.
There’s also a built-in FM radio when you get sick of your stored music.
The W200i is also a multimedia phone, complete with a camera and integrated photo album, video messaging capability and a full HTML Web browser.
It will be available in Australia sometime after March.
RRP: $299
