Audio visual and technology distributor Westan Australia has been appointed as an importer and distributor of Philips consumer TVs.Westan’s focus will be growing Philips’ market share in the AV specialist and B2B channels, with the range to be offered with a three-year in-home or on-site commercial warranty, depending on the channel it is sold into.
With sizes spanning 32″ to 65″ across three ranges, along with features including smart TV and UHD, Westan states it believes it “will be able to reach a wide segment of the domestic and commercial market”.
“Philips TV perfectly compliment the professional signage range of Philips screens that Westan took on in 2013, and the combined offer will make it much easier for us to service the commercial channel,” Westan stated of the new arrangement.
Products can be demonstrated at Westan’s showrooms and warehouses in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
