Who has the best full HD flat panel TV? According to some leading experts the winner is Panasonic following a major shootout by a US retail chain.After pitching TVs from Panasonic, Sharp, Samsung, LG, Toshiba and Sony, the store who ranked black levels, contrast ratio, colour acuracy, moving resolution and general content video quality chose the Panasonic brand as the best flat panel TV offering.
Each panel was on display on a shootout wall, and a selected panel of expert judges, along with Value Electronics’ customers, voted on their favorite performers based on careful comparison and evaluation.
Judges included members of the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF), noteworthy product reviewers and other “VIP special guests” from the motion picture and TV broadcast industries.
Larry Weber, creator and inventor of the modern plasma display used by Panasonic, attended the event.
