The head of research at DisplaySearch Calvin Hsieh has claimed that the events of 2008 will have a major impact on the evolution of Flat Panel Display in 2009. He predicts that key products in 2009 will be Apple TV, the Google Phone and Intel’s Canmore. He also said that LCD TVs in their current form are heading downwards to a no profit grave. Display Search has also said that the Google Android could well hurt carriers like Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.
