Disney’s smash hit animation, Frozen, is not only driving some parents mad and sending them broke as kids demand the accessories, it has arrived on Presto’s streaming movie service at last.
Frozen, the animated movie from Disney that is still the latest kid craze, is now available for endless replay on Foxtel’s new Presto service.
This is despite the movie being widely available on DVD and Blu-ray, where repeat viewings will not chew through endless gigabytes of data on your home’s Internet connection.
Even so, as a blockbuster hit, it will prove a tempting piece of content for the Presto movie library, joining a host of recent movie titles available on Presto as the company seeks to solidify “its position as offering the most up-to-date movies available on an Australian streaming service” – especially before Netflix arrives down under sometime next year, as heavily rumoured.

To add a bit of extra oomph and to re-heat Frozen’s hype, Presto says it is “running a competition via its Facebook page asking consumers to release their inner Olaf, uncover their inner Elsa or Ana and ‘Let it Go’ to win a great Frozen prize pack.”
Presto reminds us all it has other Disney movies, too, including “Monsters University, Planes, Aladdin, Cars, Inspector Gadget, Fantasia and many others.”
Available for $9.99 per month without lock-in contracts, and available to watch on PCs, Macs, Chromecast, select Android tablets and iOS tablets, the only thing Presto is still yet to offer is television shows, although we’ll probably see these arrive sometime next year especially as we get ever close to that mythical Netflix launch.
So, with all this content now here and still to come, if you have any doubts over Presto’s value, the company clearly hopes you’ll “let it go” and get with the subscription program, although whether Presto can defrost more frozen wallets open is still yet to be seen.
