Owners of Winning Appliances, Appliances Online, Big Brown Box and Handy Crew, have added another retailer to its portfolio.

Winning Group today announced its acquisition of the Power Buys online retail and McKnights corporate business.
Winnings acquisition of Victoria-based PowerBuys, an online division of McKnights Corporate, complements the group’s existing offering, and help expand its appliance operation, which includes the highly successful Appliances Online site.
“This investment represents a strategic opportunity to expand our small appliance business, ” said John Winning CEO.
“Winning Group is experiencing strong demand and year-on-year growth and this investment will ensure we continue to offer a high level of customer service Australia wide”.
The group also has eight retail appliance showrooms in NSW and QLD.
Peter McKnight, General Manager of PowerBuys and McKnights Corporate, will remain in the top job, with most employees also expected to join the Winning Group.
