Winning Appliances eyes Western Australia market.Appliance giant Winning Group acquires Rick Hart’s Kitchen Headquarters (KHQ), owned by Europa Investments WA Pty Ltd.
The purchase of KHQ includes its three stores in Osborne Park, O’Connor and Joondalup in Western Australia, which will be rebranded as Winnings showrooms.
Its an exciting move for the group, a spokesperson said. The value of the deal was not disclosed, but the move means Winnings now has 12 showrooms throughout NSW, Qld and WA.
Founded by Rick Hart and Nick Kirby, KHQ sells European brands including Gaggenau, Neff, Electrolux, V-ZUG and Sirius.
Kitchen Headquarters’ elite retail showroom specialises in premium home appliances for cooking, kitchen and laundry, and offers customers coffee while browsing and cooking classes.
Hart and Kirby will remain in their management positions as will all existing staff.
David Crane, CEO of Winning Appliances, said the investment was the perfect opportunity for Winning Appliances to expand into the WA market, and highlighted the synergies between the two businesses.

The Winning Group also includes Appliances Online, Big Brown Box, and Handy Crew.
