Woolworths Mobile has launched three new phone bundles, with a range of Samsung phones to choose from under the plans.Woolworths states that “customers can expect even greater value and a wider choice of phones” amid the introduction of Samsung’s Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy A3 smartphones.
The Woolworths plans, available at selected stores and online, include its “small” (1 GB data/$1,000 call/unlimited standard national SMS), “medium” (3 GB data/unlimited standard national calls and SMS) and “large” (8 GB data/unlimited standard national calls and SMS) plans.
The plans use parts of Telstra’s 3G and 4G mobile network.
Among Woolworths’ new plans, its “hero offer” sees the Galaxy S6 offered at $59 per month on a 24-month contract on the medium plan, while the Galaxy S7 starts from $68 a month on a 24-month contract on the small plan.
“Following the success of the initial launch of our mobile plans, we are proud to offer customers an extended range of Samsung devices with simple plans and strong data inclusions,” Woolworths head of telco Jason Hair commented.
“Our customers will now have access to 4G, which is available across all of our mobile plans.”
Woolworths also offers its “zero-bill shock” promise, which it states means “the plan comes with a hard limit, helping customers to never spend more than their agreed amount and ensuring the monthly phone bill is never a nasty surprise”.
