Samsung Electronics Australia’s Product Manager for Digital Still Cameras, Ben Halcomb said, “The NV24 is a feature rich camera for discerning photographers that want the best features possible without the need to compromise on size. A fully featured camera in a compact form design with black metal casing will appeal to a wide variety of customers – the high-definition playback alone will be enough for those embracing the HD revolution.”
Samsung says that the NV24 comes with a Dual Picture Stabilisation that integrates both the optical picture and digital picture stabilisation that results to ‘improved image quality and outstanding exposure without blur’. A Smart Touch User Interface is also present, allowing users to easily navigate through the cameras menu using a series of simple, touch sensitive buttons positioned around the screen. Finally, the company claims that the NV24 can capture video content in high-definition.
