Nikon has unveiled a new camera that comes with a built-in projector, allowing users to share photos on any flat surface.
The projector has a brightness of up to 10 lumens, has a throw distance of approximately 26cm to 2m, will last for an hour, and has a VGA-equivalent resolution. The camera comes with a 5x zoom lens, macro shooting ability, and a 12-megapixel sensor. The COOLPIX S1000pj will be available in Black only.
In addition to the projector camera, Nikon has also has also added three new cameras to its Coolpix range.

Nikon has also announced the Coolpix S640 – a camera that starts-up in 0.7 seconds and promises an ultra-fast autofocus system. It sports a 12.2-megapixel sensor, 5x zoom with 28mm wide-angle coverage, and features a custom optimised auto white balance system based on D-SLR technologies.

Another addition to the Nikon line-up is the Coolpix S570, a point and shoot that features a 5x zoom lens with 28mm wide-angle coverage and Nikon’s innovative Expeed digital image-processing concept. This 12-megapixel camera comes with electronic image stabilization, motion detection, Smart Portrait, red-eye fix, and movie shooting capability. It will be available in Silver, Black, Red and Pink.
The Nikon Coolpix S1000pj ($699), S70 ($599), S640 ($499), and S570 ($349) will be available next month.
