We recently posted an article online stating that the B&W Signature Diamond speakers were touted as the world’s most expensive two-ways, but local distributor of high-end US hi-fi brand Magico says that title goes to the Magico Mini 2.
Retailing at $42,000 a pair (compared to the B&W’s $28,000 price tag), the Magico Mini 2 speakers are distributed in Australia by PQ Imports.

The Mini II speakers improve on the original version by incorporating a new custom-designed Nano-Tec woofer, for deeper, louder sounds without distortion and a new “Elliptical Symmetry Crossover” (ESXO), the company says.
Other models in the Magico range include the $38,000 V3, and at the top of the range sits the aptly named Ultimate, retailing at a cool $450,000 beating out even the KEF Muon’s $220,000 price tag.
According to Magico, while the speakers may be expensive, they offer value for money because they do not compromise in the making of any aspect of their speakers.
