A Dutch hacking group claims to have broken the Xbox 360’s anti-piracy systems.

The hacking group, Team PI Coder, claims to have successfully hacked Microsoft’s Xbox 360 to extract and save game data and original coding.
The move is seen as a possible first step towards allowing pirated games and other applications being run on the console.

“The first task is done,” wrote the group. “We hope this encourages all hackers, coders and crackers out there to take up the challenge.”
