Ensemble Studios has announced that it might add extra downloadable content through Xbox Live for its soon-to-be released Halo Wars game, according to UK tech website Electricpig.com.The game’s lead producer, Jason Pace, was being coy when asked about on-going support for the popular franchise. He said, “additional downloadable content is something we’re looking in to. We are committed to supporting the franchise, [but] there’re no definite plans yet.”
When questioned about a sequel, even though the original is yet to be released, Pace would not be drawn to comment, which is not surprising in that Microsoft will be closing the Ensemble at the end of this month. However, all is not lost because it is thought that studio head Tony Goodman plans to start a new independent studio.
