Yamaha is set to open the doors to its third concept store in Australia this
weekend – the first one in Victoria – complete with opening specials and prize
giveaways. A live musical performance by Yamaha Artist, Jimi Hocking of the
Screaming Jets, will keep the crowd entertained during the lunchtime rush this
Saturday, at the Sound Centre in Wantirna South, Melbourne.
The store is located at Westfield Knox Shopping Centre and the grand opening event follows two previous Sound Centre launches at Todd’s Hi Fi Virginia, in Brisbane earlier in July and the first venture at West Coast Hi Fi Malaga, Perth,
earlier this year.
Yamaha Music Australia’s general manager, Simon Goldsworthy, said: “We’re excited to be opening our newest Sound Centre at The Big Picture People in Knox.”
“Melbournians now have a destination to go to experience the very latest in home entertainment technology and a range of Lifestyle and Audio products, from portable Bluetooth speakers to auditioning Yamaha’s flagship models in categories
such as Hi Fi, multichannel home theatre and Sound Bars,” he added.
The Sound Centre at Big Picture People provides an opportunity for customers to get hands-on with Yamaha’s extensive range of home entertainment products, including the award-winning A-S3000 Stereo Amplifier, the new S2100 Series Stereo
Components, and the AVENTAGE Separate Components which recently won the EISA prize for European HT High-end Home Theatre 2014-2015.
Other products to look out for are the RX-A2040 and RX-A3040 from the AVENTAGE Series V which will support the new Dolby Atmos format, and the new YSP-2500 Sound Bar.
The revamped Knox location has seen The Big Picture People store become Yamaha’s premier showroom in Victoria with custom-built displays and areas dedicated to product demonstration. With this latest installation, Yamaha continues to make
headway in realising its ambition of having concept stores throughout Australia and to represent the company as a premium brand to customers and the retail channel.
