Samsung has moved to demonstrate the superiority of the Galaxy SIII over the new iPhone 5 by taking out advertisements that mock the Apple iPhone 5, which stacks up poorly when compared with the Samsung competitor.
The ad, which began running in newspapers around the world on Sunday, claims that ‘it doesn’t take a genius’ to choose between the Galaxy SIII and the brand new iPhone 5, announced last week.
Apple uses the term “genius” to promote their tech support specialists in Apple stores.
The ad compares the spec list of the two devices, not surprisingly it reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S3 device stacks up better than the iPhone5.
The Galaxy SIII appears to have a higher resolution display, double the RAM, room for expandable storage and Micro USB charging, compared to ‘a totally different plug.’
Beneath the comparisons, Samsung lists a whole host of features, like NFC, Smart Stay, Tilt to zoom, removable battery and loads more things that the iPhone 5 doesn’t have.
The add concludes with, ‘The Next Big Thing Is Already Here’.
Apple Australia has not responded to the new campaign.
