Taiwanese consumer electronics maker Asus is looking for a profitable ride aboard the Australian Christmas present train, announcing its new ZenWatch 2, pictured, will hit the Down Under market on December 1.
Asus claims the new e-watch is the thinnest Android Wear smartwatch available in Australia and will provide up to two days usage time and up to three days standby time.
There are two sizes and three stainless-steel case colours to choose from, along with five different strap combinations and instantly-changeable watchfaces, plus an app that lets wearers design their own.
A metal crown is claimed provide a new way to interact with the watch. The watch also comes with a new magnetic charger said to dramatically improve battery recharge time.
The new XenWatch will be sold through the Asus e-Shop and “select” Harvey Norman stores. Pricing starts at A$299. – Channel News
