Razer have sharpened the edges of its lineup yet again with a new version of its ultrabook offering, The Razer Blade Stealth.
“The first Razer Blade Stealth’s success proved that highly mobile students, creatives and professionals alike are demanding more in terms of performance, personalization and value,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO.
“From the classroom to the boardroom, the new Razer Blade Stealth continues to set the standard for mobility, power, durability and value in laptops for productivity everywhere.”
The biggest improvement here comes in the form of the display, which has been upped in both size and quality. Where last year’s model was 12.5-inches, the refresh offers 13.3-inches of Quad HD+ IGZO touch-enabled display with 100 percent sRGB color space.
Beyond that, the 13.3-inch Blade Stealth with Windows 10 comes standard with a 7th generation i7 processor for ultimate performance and 16GB of fast, dual-channel memory with up to 1TB of PCIe solid-state storage.
For what it’s worth, we reviewed last year’s Razer Blade Stealth and came away somewhat impressed (even if we had a few reservations).
In our review, we concluded “there are definite areas where the Razer Blade Stealth hits things out of the park – but on the whole it falls short of the slam dunk it probably needs to be. Still, there’s plenty to like here and if you’re looking for a premium notebook experience it’s well worth a look.”
Australian pricing starts at $2049 for the 256GB model and $2349 for the 512GB variant. It’ll be available from July through the Razer and Microsoft online stores.
