As Samsung awaits the release of the Galaxy S9 – and its a “reimagined camera” – recent reports reveal Huawei’s forthcoming P20 smartphone will feature a triple rear camera set-up.
With ‘Bixby Vision’ artificial intelligence and a suite of AR integrations, Samsung has touted the S9’s camera as a hero feature.
Samsung’s larger Galaxy S9+ incorporates a rear dual camera set-up – an aspect Huawei clearly has set its sights upon.
Recent reports reveal several ‘official’ looking promo images, highlighting the P20’s triple camera setup, with enhanced artificial intelligence integration.
The promo images display the tag-line “See mooore with AI”, with the implication the three ‘o’ letters represent each of the device’s three cameras.
While previous leaks displayed Huawei’s P20 smartphone with a dual camera set-up, it’s likely triple camera set-up may be reserved for the handset’s Pro model.
An iPhone X-esque is also apparent in the leaked images.
Huawei is scheduled to officially unveil its upcoming P20 smartphone at an event in Paris on March 27th.
