Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D land and Nintendo’s Flaming Red 3DS will be coming to Australia soon.

Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 will both make use of the 3DS’ 3D technology and will be out in time for the holiday season.
The 3DS is currently the only handheld console capable of 3D gaming in Australia, let alone producing the third dimension without cumbersome 3D glasses.
Last month the console was discounted dramatically in an effort to boost sales. The move was a company record with Nintendo’s CEO Satoru Iwata claiming Nintendo has never had to reduce a new product so quickly.

Available from the 22nd of December, the new colour will join its Aqua Blue and Cosmos Black siblings at the recommended retail price of $249.95.
