Belkin has filled the void left by Apple’s rumoured ‘AirPower’ dock, unveiling its new “Boost Up” wireless charger which simultaneously charges both iPhones and smartwatches.
Launching in December, the new Boost Up dock is “enhanced” for the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and Apple Watch 4, however, is compatible with the former iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and prior Apple Watches.
The device offers wireless charging up to 7.5W for Qi-enabled devices, and 5W/1A for the Apple Watch.
Belkin VP of Design, Oliver Seil, claims the product is engineered for both form and function.
Concurrent with the device’s Christmas launch, Belkin has also optimised its ‘PowerHouse Charge Dock for Apple Watch + iPhone’ to better work with 2018 iPhones.
The product claims to be perfect for users who prefer to charge their iPhone via a Lightning connector.
