Amaysim have refreshed their SIM-only mobile plans with data allowances of up to 14GB.
The 14GB of data is included on the telco’s $50 plan, and all of the telco’s plans, including the $40 for 10GB, $30 for 5GB and $25 for 2GB plans, also include unlimited phone calls and texts to standard numbers in Australia and to ten other countries.
Although the plans are described as “amongst the most competitive non-promotional plans in the market”, potential customers should note that all of the plans are per 28-day period, not per month.
The telco said it had launched the new plans in response to an increased demand for data.
“We know that people are data hungry and usage continues to grow rapidly. In fact, mobile data usage increased by as much as 69% between FY15-16 – that’s why we’ve upped the ante on all our data inclusions,” said Amaysim’s commercial director of mobile Maik Retzlaff.
“As usual, all our plans come with no lock-in contracts, making it easy for existing and new amaysim customers to pick the plan that’s right for them,” Retzlaff said.
