Lady Gaga and Dr Dre have collaborated together to create heartbeats: new in-ear headphones that don gothic style, but are endowed with the fruits of sonic progression.

“My whole life is a performance,” began Lady Gaga.
“In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things; I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion. Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being with one additional vow: that sound matters.
“Wear Heartbeats, love each other, and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music.”
All Beats headphones are geared towards the low end, placing emphasis on the bass which helps give sound dimension. Lady Gaga’s music is riddled with punctuating bass, contrasting the high electric notes with deep snippets that vibrate unapologetically, and these headphones adhere to such a philosophy.
Recognising mp3 players are out and smartphones are in, these in-ears harbour a microphone for phone calls and an ‘ultra-flexible’ tangle free cord, ensuring you can still manage a phone call mid tune. The combination of which makes them ideal for the everyday commutes to work, university or even the dreaded training session.
Other features include six sets of ear tips to ensure the perfect fit for every wearer, hard carrying case and ControlTalkTM, which enables iPhone and iPod music playback.
Available in Black and White/Gold, Gaga’s HeartBeats are available now at a RRP of $169.
