BenQ have announced two new monitors which aim to meet the needs of professional designers.
The BenQ PD3200Q and PD3200U 32-inch monitors are part of the company’s Designer Series, and feature a variety of features desirable for professional designers including Technicolor Colour certification, 10-bit depths of colour, Rec.709 and 100% sRGB colour.
“We recognise that designers understand the importance of Colour Accuracy,” said Martin Moelle, Managing Director at BenQ Australia.
“With the PD3200Q/U, they have a wide range of custom features designed to streamline their workflow and increase productivity. Available in QHD and UHD resolution respectively, the PD3200Q/U offers incredible value, allowing designers to work efficiently while unleashing their creative talents.”
Three premium display modes can be applied in specific applications of the monitors, including ‘Darkroom’ for work in dark post-production environments, ‘CAD/CAM’ for superior image contrast when displaying technical illustrations, and an animation mode that enhances details in dark shadows.
An IPS panel provides a 178-degree viewing angle on both the horizontal and vertical planes, and the monitors also pack in a wide range of features for additional versatility, functionality and customisability.
BenQ’s PD3200Q monitor retails for $749, and the PD3200U retails for $1299. Both are available now, with more information and specifications available on the BenQ website.
