Video distribution company Bluestream has unveiled its new Contractor HDBaseT Matrix distributing HDMI, Bi-directional IR and PoH (PoE) up to lengths of 70m over a single CAT cable.
The company says the new C44-KIT distributes 4K HDCP 2.2 resolutions from 4 sources to 4 zones.
The Matrix also provides advanced features including simultaneous HDBaseT™/ HDMI output and a web browser interface module for advanced control integration and configuration of the matrix. The solution comes as a plug and play kit supplied with 4 x HEX70B Receivers.

We’ve worked closely with our customers and component level suppliers to develop our latest contractor series of cost effective solutions. “We have specified the C44-KIT to support the latest HDCP2.2 protocol and resolutions up to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0, which accounts for the maximum resolution of over 95 per cent of 4K sources currently on the market. During the next 6-12 months we expect the market to polarise as we see the introduction of advanced HDBaseT solutions that support the full 4K resolution of 60Hz 4:4:4. These new solutions will naturally be more expensive than current models and because if this its more important than ever that AV engineers specify the correct equipment for the project in hand. The C44-KIT will be a great solution for residential 4 zone installations for years to come.”
