HMD Global appear to have developed nine new smartphones to spearhead their entry into the housebrand smartphone market with their own set to be built around the youth and value market where Oppo, Motorola and Samsung with a new A series range are set compete this year.Initially, two HMD-branded phones surfaced and these looked pretty average. Now nine more models have been revealed, indicating that the brand is working on 11 products in total for their big launch at Mobile World Congress in Barcelone later this month.
Confirmation of gthe new models came when new listings appeared on the IMEI database last week.
In other moves the the NokiaMobile account was renamed HMD, signaling an end for Nokia, what’s not known is whether a Chinese brand has picked up the Nokia rights after 2025.
The IMEI database does not provide information on specifications, but it reveals the existence of 9 HMD-branded products.

HMD stands for Human Mobile Devices with the European brand claiming that their aim is to create useful mobile devices for humanity.Operated by former Nokia management the brand is hoping that the dropping of the Nokia brand for new HMD Global brand will deliver better results than in the past.
Although not much is known about HMD’s new phones, it was revealed earlier that an HMD-branded phone will have a 108MP triple camera with OIS.
