Chinese-based, Oppo, has further cemented its place as a Gen-Y focused brand, following the release of its new R15 Pro smartphone, which is bundled with a three night holiday in Bali for $1,579.
The new R15 Pro ‘Bali Bundle’ is exclusively available to purchase online, and is limited to the first 50 customers.
Available to pre-order from June 25th, Oppo claims customers can upgrade their smartphone and receive a trip away, for less than the price of other flagship handsets (e.g. Apple’s iPhone X).
The accompanying R15 Pro’s ‘Bali Trip’ includes the below:
- A flight voucher and three nights stay at the ‘OPPO Private Pool Villa’ (The Leaf Jimbaran Bali Luxurious Villa & Spa Retreat). Complimentary 1hr massage and a fine dining.
- A day pass to Karma Kandara Beach Club
- A day pass to Mrs Sippy Bali
- A GOLDUST Facial or Massage
The new R15 Pro is positioned as an iPhone X ‘dupe’, complete with a ‘notch’, 6.28-inch FHD+OLED display, 20MP front camera, 6GB RAM and 128GB memory.
The device follows the launch of Oppo’s R11s, which continues to bring “flagship features at an affordable price”.
Both devices include increased display resolution, AI camera capabilities and more.

Oppo’s R15 Pro will be available to purchase from several Australian retailers and carriers from July 2nd (as below) for A$779. Also landing in Australia is the base R15 for A$659.
