Acer is launching a whopping 45-inch OLED monitor along a serious array of gaming machines, at CES 2023.
The Predator X45 is an ultrawide gaming monitor that sports a 45-inch, 21:9 panel and a 800R curve.
Interestingly, the resolution comes in at below 4K, with a 3440 X 1440 panel. Despite not being 4K, it still produces 1,000 nits of peak brightness and 98.5 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 professional colour space.
It supports a 240Hz refresh rate and has a whip-fast response time of 0.01 milliseconds. The monitor features a DisplayPort 1.4 connection and two HDMI 2.0 ports, plus AMD FreeSync Premium support.
Alongside the 45-inch version, Acer has also announced the 27-inch Predator X27U, pictured above.
As the photo shows, this version doesn’t come with the curve, and sports a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 98.5 per cent coverage of DCI-P3 and 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
Acer says both models will be available in the first half of 2023, with The Predator X45 to retail in the ballpark of A$2,599, according to converted US pricing, with the smaller model roughly A$1,699.
