More companies and their employees are adopting Apple’s Mac computers, iPad and iPhones to use for business, indicating the brand and its enterprise support is on the rise.A Forrester survey revealed one in five information employees are using one or more Apple products for work. Even more startling is over a thousand employers intended on increasing the numbers of Macs deployed in their workplace by 52% in 2012.
The survey canvassed over 3,300 IT decision makers, but Forrester wanted to “capture the growing phenomena of consumerization, where the employees use personally owned technology for work purposes, whether at home or at work.” To do so, they also asked 10,000 information workers who use computers or a smart device for at least an hour per day for work.
