Apple will be replacing batteries for selected no touch bar 13-inch MacBook Pro models as there is a possibility a component may fail causing the built-in battery to expand.
The tech giant stresses this is not a safety issue.
Affected units were manufactured between October 2016 and October 2017 and eligibility is determined by the product serial number.
If your device has been affected Apple will replace the battery free of charge at any Apple Store or Apple certified retailer.
To see if your 13-inch MacBook Pro has been affected by this issue click here where you will need to submit the MacBook Pro’s serial number.
To check for a serial number it should be on the product itself, seen via an iCloud account, the packaging or on the invoice.
