Canon Wireless Printing App For iPhone

Canon is set to launch a photo printing application that will enable wireless photo printing from an iPhone or iPod touch to a compatible Canon Pixma printer.

Canon Australia’s Brand Manager for Pixma, Beryl Thomas said, “Canon continues to make the photo printing experience as seamless and easy as possible with the addition of new technologies such as the Canon Easy-Photo Print Application.”

“This new application opens up the photo printing possibilities for iPhone or iPod Touch users who can now easily print from their device while enjoying creative control over high quality output options,” added Thomas.

Users can choose from a variety of sizes and paper types when printing, photos can easily be printed as large as 8.5 x 11-inches on up to six different types of paper. Additionally, this new application allows consumers to print up to 20 copies at one time to a compatible Canon Pixma printer.

The new application is compatible with the PIXMA MP990, MP640 and MP560 Wireless Photo All-in-One (AIO) Printers for easy creation of photos.
