Pro audio equipment manufacturer, Klipsch, has unveiled five new soundbars at CES 2019, featuring support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice commands. One new model (Bar 54A) will also boast Dolby Atmos.
The new soundbars vary from 40-inches to 54-inches, starting with the compact Klipsch Bar 40. The device accompanies the new ‘Bar 40G’ with built-in Google Assistant.
Products are priced between US$299 – US$1,599, with American release slated for later this year (local pricing and availability to be confirmed).
The Klipsch Bar 48 is the second shortest in the new range, alongside the WiFi-enabled ‘Bar 48W’. The soundbar is compatible with Apple AirPlay 2, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant streaming. The device will also boast DTS Virtual:X surround sound.
The new soundbars resembles the aesthetic of Klipsch’s Reference range, and can be purchased with or without a subwoofer.
Klipsch has also announced it’s expanding its Google Assistant powered Heritage wireless speakers range, with pricing between US$149- US$499. International release is scheduled for later this year.
Harnessing similar technology, the new wireless speakers will debut several new finishes to Klipsch’s portfolio.
