Creative, which launched its iPod Shuffle competitor Zen Stone last month, has now upped the storage capacity with the release of the Zen Stone Plus.
The new MP3 player doubles the storage capacity of the Zen Stone to offer 2GB of music storage space.
Unlike the Shuffle, the Zen Stone Plus offers an LCD screen, FM radio, clock, stopwatch and voice recorder.
No driver installation is necessary to add music to the Stone Plus, transferring music files is simply a drag and drop process, Creative says. The player has a claimed listening time of 9.5 hours with a single charge.
A number of accessories for the player are also available including a portable speaker system, stands and skins. The Stone Plus is available in black, white and pink.
