Epson has launched its most affordable cost-per-page printer range in Australia, the new ‘EcoTank Mono’ which claims to print 6,000 pages at $0.004 cents per page.
The range currently encompasses two models – the ET-M1100 (RRP $339) and ET-M1120 (RRP $349) – which harness Epson’s inkjet printhead technology in a compact build.
To enhance cost efficiencies, both models ship with 5,000 pages worth of ink, with replacement bottles costing just A$24.99 (~6,000 pages worth).
Epson Australia GM Sales & Marketing Consumer Division, Bruce Bealby, claims Australian demand for high capacity ink tank printers has grown at a “rapid rate” in the last few years.
“To put it another way, with EcoTank Mono you can print over 16 pages a day every day, for 365 days a year for less than half a cent a page before you need to purchase more ink and when you do it’ll only cost you $24.99.”
“If you’re looking for a high volume, ultra-low cost per page black and white printer that uses the very latest in printing technology and low cost ink refills, then Mono EcoTank is an ideal choice.”
The new ET-M1120 includes WiFi, Wi-Fi Direct® and iPrint, meaning no router is required to print from anywhere in a home, whilst supporting multiple PC sharing.
Users can print from their phone or tablet via Epson Connect, with minimal setup required.
The new EcoTank Mono printers claim to print 15 pages per minute [360×360 resolutuon], with 150 page paper trays.
Epson’s new EcoTank Mono printers are available to purchase now from the company’s website and several selected retailers.
