Foxtel’s rebranded streaming app Foxtel Now has now officially made its way to to PS4 and PS4 Pro owners.
Available just in time for the new season of Game of Thrones, the app is now available for download on the Playstation 4 store.
Deanne Weir, Foxtel’s Managing Director of Content Aggregation and Wholesale, says that “We’re thrilled to add PlayStation 4 to our list of Foxtel Now supported devices so soon after launch.”
“When we announced the arrival of Foxtel Now just a few weeks back, we promised a series of quick updates and today’s news couldn’t come at a better time for fans of Game of Thrones who are eager to follow the schemes and scandals of next week’s season opener.”
There are similarly enthusiastic words coming out of Sony Australia on the partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia’s Director of Marketing Patrick Lagana saying that “we’re delighted to announce Foxtel Now as a new addition to the strong portfolio of video and TV services available on PlayStation 4.”
“The quality of content and convenience of Foxtel Now, paired with our brand new video interface, means there’s never been a better time to be entertained on PlayStation.”
The Foxtel Now app is available for download now to PS4 and PS4 Pro users via the Playstation Store.
An active Foxtel Now subscription is required to use the app, with prices starting at $10 a month for the Lifestyle, Doco and Kids packs.
